At the Institute of Communications Agencies (ICA) fifth annual FFWD Advertising & Marketing Week held this week in Toronto, Ipsos Reid presented their second annual Most Influential Brands study. The study looked at the Most Influential Brands in Canada and, for the first time, also included a global look at the Most Influential Brands in the World, surveying additional markets including the US, UK, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and China.
This year, Google took the top spot as The Most Influential Brand in Canada (up from #2 last year), and the Most Influential Brand in the World. YouTube also rose 2 spots to become the 7th Most Influential Brand in Canada. You can find the full release from Ipsos Reid here.
